We know you have a million things to worry about after birth, and trying to take care of yourself and your newborn can be overwhelming. That is why I offer belly binding in the comfort of your own home. I will come to your home usually in the first 3 to 7 days after delivery to put the belly bind on your torso. You don't need to leave your baby unattended while you bind. I come to you! I will send you a video on how to self bind though it is much easier to have someone put it on for you.

Postpartum belly binding is a great way to soothe and heal the skin around your stomach after birth. The faja style belly binding is also excellent for reducing swelling in the abdominal region as well as helping with milk letdown. My home visits are perfect for you if you want this immediate support during this first crucial time postpartum, and it's just one of the ways I can help you ease into motherhood.

I offer both BengKung (Malaysian) and Faja (Mexican) belly binding.

$150 for a one-time bind using BengKung Belly Bind. Add an additional Faja bind for $30 (this one is much easier to put on but not as effective)

$250 for a 3-days-in-a-row visit for binding (this price is based on my service area: Davis, Weber, Salt Lake, and Cache Valley counties). Add an additional Faja bind for $30.

  • BengKung belly binding uses a long fabric that wraps around the torso multiple times. It is very custom fit and changes with your postpartum body. It is much tighter and supportive than the Faja binding. It does take a lot longer to put on though (about 10 minutes, which doesn't seem long but can be with a newborn).

Faja binging is one big piece of fabric that only takes about a minute to wrap around the torso. It is not quite as supportive as the BengKung binding though.

There are pros and cons to each one, but honestly it is nice to have both!
