Tricks of the Trade (1)

Do you want to know all of my best tricks from lots of my trades and trainings? These are my best tools for pregnancy and labor.

This class is for doulas/ birth workers/ pregnant persons. I am a massage therapist (practicing for 25 years), doula, yoga and belly dance instructor. We will cover lots of information related to pregnancy from lots of different trainings that I have had throughout the years.

What we will cover:

•  Cogs - balance your body
•  Belly dance basics - movements to help your body during pregnancy and labor and delivery - we will do some dancing
•  Silicone cupping - what, when & how to use it - plan to practice this, so wear layers that are easy to take off
•  Dry body brushing - what, when & how to use them - we will practice this
•  Massage - for pregnancy & labor - we will practice
•  KT taping - what, when & how to use it - we will practice this Infant massage - learn a calming massage for baby or to share with your clients
•  Ear seeds - what, when & how to use them - we will practice using these
•  Stretching & yoga: what not to do while pregnant - we will do some stretching

There will be a 60 minute lunch break, I will provide lunch - Butternut squash soup, breadsticks, salad, and drinks. If you are not interested in that meal, there is local places to eat as well. 

Payment available:  If you want to do a different payment method than what is offered on my website, please reach out. I am happy to talk about a payment plan or bartering agreements as well.

Refund or transfer to the next class is available if you miss because of a birth.

I am also on-call for doula clients during this time. If I need to cancel and reschedule I will let you know. Be sure to let me know that you are planning to come, so I can contact you.

This class is very hands-on so no babies for this one.

Wear something to stretch & move in (layers might be helpful to get to more skin for some techniques), bring a water bottle (I will have more if you need some), snacks (I will have some but you might be picky lol), lunch if you prefer to not eat what I am offering (I have a fridge & microwave), paper (if you prefer to not write on the handouts I'll be sharing) and a writing utensil (if you prefer your own).
