Thai Massage Course

Thai massage is a system of slow, rhythmic compression that is used to relax the muscles followed by a series of stretches. The overall goal is to balance the flow of vital energy throughout the body. It creates a deeply healing experience for both giver and receiver. A simple way of obtaining all the benefits of yoga including balancing prana (life energy). This is considered a style of energy work because it helps move stuck energy by stimulating the meridian energy flow. This bodywork is performed on a mat on the floor with the giver and the receiver wearing loose, comfortable clothing. The course teaches the history, benefits, contraindications and a basic Thai massage protocol.
